B-52 Scheduled for 30 more years of service
The B-52 Stratofortress is the USAF's primary bomber. The B-52 was made pretty much when the U.S finished the Korean War. Suprisingly the plane is still in service which makes it about 50 years old. Even more amazingly it is still scheduled for thirty more years of service.

That is really unbelievable! It must have been a very well made jet. How often do they do maintenance? Replace parts? What a cool fact!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that one plain would be so advanced for its time period that it would last so many years.
